Okay guys so I bought a Huawei Nova 3i (INE-LX2) and the screen was smashed and not functioning. I replaced the screen and it’s pin locked (no way to figure out what it is) and when I tried to go into recovery it’s asking me to type ‘yes’ on the keyboard to confirm. The problem is while the touchscreen works when the phone is booted it doesn’t work when it’s in recovery. Is there a certain tool or program I can use on my computer to flash or reset it? Any advice helps!

If bootloader was locked, you can reset all data (pin also) via fastboot command - look at the seventh paragraph of this guide (sorry, I didn’t found similar post in English).

In recovery mode you use the volume and power buttons to navigate to the option you want to select. Recovery mode is basically the same as safe mode in Windows. Only the bare bones of the os is loaded hence why touch doesn’t work.

Thanks for the answer but in factory Settings you need the touch to enter ‘yes’ and I don’t like it despite the touch working
