Chosen Solution
Dropped iPad and shattered screen. Removed all screen pieces. Ordered replacement front panel assembly. Home button works, powers on, volume button works but touch screen does not respond. Can’t “slide to open”. Is there something else that I can troubleshoot? I’d hate to become a “former” ipad owner. Any suggestions appreciated.
Hi there was the ipad touch still working even tho the screen was smashed? If so then check the connectors on the ipad are fully locked in place if they are and still no touch it’s possible it’s a faulty display
