Hello, I replaced my iphone 5s screen and afterwards I have this systematic issue. Every time you hit the power/home button to wake it up, the touch screen is unresponsive. Simply pushing the power button twice (sleep then wake back up) results in a fully responsive and functioning touch screen. This occurs basically any time the phone has been asleep for longer than a minute - I haven’t systematically figured out the exact time. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on? I have turned the phone off and back on, same issue remains, and it has persisted for the last week. Thank you for any assistance, Jake
Hey jolson1129, disassemble and reassemble the display. Here is the guide for that. Also try a hard reset by holding the power and home buttons together until the screen turns black and the Apple logo shows up. Also if it doesn’t work then the display might be faulty and you might have to replace it. -Let me know if this helps.
Hi jolson1129, I’m having exacly the same issue with a Iphone5s, did you you ever found out what was the easy fix for this issue? I just restored the phone and keeps doing the same. Cheers X
I have almost exactly the same problem as well: If I have my phone off for more than a few minutes, the screen is mostly unresponsive unless I sleep and wake. It will respond to some touches but not most, and it’s bad enough that I can’t even swipe to unlock. I have not replaced the screen on my phone. Rather this issue started randomly one morning after sleeping on it. My headphone was pressing into the screen. A hard reboot didn’t fix anything. I also thought it might be something to do with capacitance, like sleeping and waking was discharging something. However I bet it is a faulty connection corrupting some controller, and sleeping resets it. If opening it up and wiggling around the connection works, I’ll post here.
Thanks for the good ideas to bring it. I know a lot more. :) พนันบอลออนไลน์ :J
