Chosen Solution

Hi! I in the beginning of may I bought a refurbished iPhone X, the phone looks like it’s in perfect condition and worked perfectly until last week sometime. Sometimes when I want to unlock it, the screen is not responsive at all. If I turn it off than and back on (with the power button) it takes a while for the screen to light up and it still won’t work. After a while it suddenly works. This also happens while I am on the phone. Please see the video below, that shows what happens. https://youtu.be/Ppk-1326Rq4 I just reset the phone back to factory settings to see if it was a software problem but I can’t even set up the phone again because it keeps happening, so that obviously did not work. If anyone has a solution, please let me know! I have some experience opening up iPhones as I fixed a couple iPhone 6s and 8’s so that won’t be a problem. It would be better if I don’t need to do that though! :) Thanks in advance!

Disconnect the battery and the screen. Check the connections for any damaged pins and clean the connectors with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. It might not be getting a good ground on the connection.

Any signs of water damage? If not I think your screen need to be replaced for a new one, I can see it is a copy screen.
