I replaced my LCD and digitizer. After installing everything, the screen works, looks, great and sound works great. The touch screen will not allow me to do anything. The home button works and when is asks me to put in my password, the screen won’t type or it won’t let me slide…the touch screen doesn’t work
You’ve got a faulty screen. The digitizer (part that registers your touch) has died. If you bought this from iFixit contact customer support and a replacement will be issued once your order is verified.
