I recently installed a new screen for my iPhone 6 and it does not respond correctly. It comes on, but when I got to put in pass code it clicks the wrong numbers and is sporadic. Also, it shows foreign language at top of pass code. Any ideas on what it could be?
Could be the digitizer cable isn’t seated all the way. Detach battery, make sure digitizer cable is plugged in securely, seat battery connector and turn it on. If that doesn’t work, put on original and see if it’s doing the same. Most likely it will be fine and you just have a defective display is all.
