Chosen Solution
I had my damaged screen replaced at a professional shop which apparently uses high quality screens. all functions such as sound, power button, home button, fungerprint, mic, volumes, vibration etc all worked. The only issue I have is that the screen now seems to have a mind of its own. Without me touching anything it starts scrolling when Im on a webpage, moving the map when etc Any idea what might cause this? Wrong installation or a low quality screen?
It’s either a bad quality screen or a bent iPhone / dented corner causing that issue (screen doesn’t sit flat in result).
iPhone 7 will require individual calibration of the screen after replacement. Without calibration, you can only keep swapping the screen until you find one that more or less matches.
