Chosen Solution
Just a quick question. I got an 5s.. the problem is the lcd is in perfect shape but is not responding to any touches. the lcd displays, the phone shuts off, and restarts. All good but aint responding to my touches. Some tech said its the motherboard needs to be replaced. and i think its just about the display connector maybe? Just asking a second opinion here. Thanks!
Usually its either a bad connection from the digitizer (one of the two cables coming from the screen) or the digitizer itself has been damaged/stopped working. I would first try disconnect the screen, clean the connectors and reconnect. If that does not help I would try with a new screen and see if that helps.
