the bottom row of the touch screen on my ifix replacement touch screen does not work properly. when i touch anywhere in the bottom row just above the home button, the row above the bottom row highlites, for instance on the key pad, if i press on the ### space, the cap key highlight, if i press on the space bar the letter key just above the space bar highlight etc. i did all the suggestions including factory rest and now i can even set it up, because in the set up process, the “set up manual” touch command is in the touch screen dead zone. i have taken it apart and reset all the contacts, but still does not work. I think there is something wrong with the screen you set me. It worked ok up until just recently. Jim

You would need to test the screen on another phone or another screen on your phone to rule it out. If it is not the screen it will be the touch connector or the touch IC. You can set the phone up with 3Utools it has an option now that doesn’t require screen input.
