Hello,
I recently bought a iPhone X, the screen was severly shattered and I replaced a screen with a previous screen I knew that works. The software that was installed did work but I restored it and installed the newest software to make sure it was not a problem with the software. After the software update with 3utools the ‘Hello’ screen popped up but I still can’t use the touch. The weird thing is that when the phone is in ‘standby’ I can wake up the phone by touching the screen. How is this possible, is this a motherboard related problem or most likely a screen related problem?
Thanks for answering. The iPhone lays down without moving. When I touch the screen lightly it wakes up. The phone does not move. Also, when i touch the screen with another object (not my Finger) it does not wake up so i think it is safe to say that the iPhone does register a touch? But when it lights up the screen is not registrering any touch. The software is not frozen
