Hello

I changed a Screen/Digitize on a Samsung Tab A. When push the home button it responds . When you try to tap the screen it won’t respond. When I press the ribbon connector to the chip it responses fully. When you stop using it for more then a minute it take a while to response to the touch again. I’ve tried taping the cable down to keep it secure and dosen’t help. Any Help?

I assume you mean that you replaced the touch screen on your Galaxy Tab A. Replacement of the touch screen can be tricky at best. With the unit off, and preferably no battery, (for safety), unplug the cable, and clean all related connectors with rubbing alcohol, and a Q-Tip. Wait about 5 minutes for everything to air dry, then reassemble, and try again. If this doesn’t work, then either the new screen is defective, or something was missed during reassembly. At this point, I’d suggest having a professional repair it for you.
