As the title implies. The LCD broke on my old one, and i bought a new screen off eBay. I connected everything up and the screen comes on and the home button is responsive. However, the screen is not responding to any touch input whatsoever. Can someone please help?! Thanks
OK having replaced multiple iphone 6 screens in the past I have had the same issue at times. The first thing to do is to take the phone apart again and reattach everything making sure that all the connections are securely in place. Sometimes when we replace parts we think that we did it correct but human errors are common. If this does not solve the issue ( i really hope it does though) then the problem may be the new screen itself. Many of the screens that are bought offline are not genuine apple products and they can come to you defective. It has happened to me multiple times and all i did was just send it back and get another one. when buying screens it is hard to know which screen is actually a good one and which is not that good. look at prices first as you know a lot of times you get what you pay for. If you buy the cheapest screen then yuo can almost guarantee that it will have issues soon. Try to make sure that it has OEM parts and try to see the reviews. I hope that this has helped you and that the problem is just a loose cable somewhere.
