Good afternoon. After replacing the battery (Iphone 5s 16gb) has stopped working Touch ID. The displays are not displayed any mechanical damage. Applying the finger to the sensor, not what happens. On the screen is reflected by the scanning finger. The service does not know why. Tried to reinstall software to factory settings , did not help. Please help with this problem.
Does your home button work without the TouchID functionality? Can you use the home button to move from app to app? If yes, you probably damaged the sensor on the home button during the repair. This can be repaired by Apple only as the TouchID sensor is serialized to the logic board. If no, you may simply have a disconnected cable (check for proper connection) or a faulty charging port (which has a cable for the home button). What was the reason for the repair in the first place? You may have replaced the battery preemptively when you really need the charging port (which holds a cable that activates the home button). iPhone 5s Lightning Connector and Headphone Jack
