Have a question, Had an iphone 6s where i replaced the screen and transferred over the original touch id, home button as I know you can’t use a new one. I’ve done this many times, but this time the touch id won’t work after put back together. It doesn’t give any error at all. Just when you try to add new finger print, it acts like you don’t have your finger on the home button… No errors. It just won’t prompt you to scan your finger and can’t get it to work. Any ideas?

@jason_b Well, the fact that your iPhone is giving you no errors is a red flag that either the home button or it’s cable is damaged. I think you’re going to have to make the sacrifice here and just buy a new home button assembly. If Touch ID still refuses to work after a new home button assembly then we have a bigger problem here, a board level issue. iPhone 6s Home Button Assembly iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Home Button Gasket iPhone 6s Home Button Assembly Replacement
