My touch id not working, I disassemble my phone to change my earpiece and I tear the home button cable. I try fix it, and my home button working but my touch id not and the phone not writing error just not perceive my finger. IT cause by cable or something else?
Unfortunately now that you’ve broken your home button cable you can no longer access touch ID. Each iPhone’s CPU is cryptographically paired to the specific home button IC that is factory installed. So unless you know how to or know someone that knows how to replace the touch id IC with the factory one then you’re out of luck.
