i Swapped screens and when I did it would boot loop quickly. so I swapped back to the original screen and it no longer looped but the Touch ID was no longer working. Any idea on why this is? The Touch ID was Not broken before I attempted repair, I handled the cable carefully and don’t see any rips and pins seems to be fine.
When you switched the home button did you possible tear the cable? It’s extremely thin and easy to tear. If the cable is fine make sure the connectors clean and tight. Get a magnifying glass and clean the connectors with a soft brush. Make sure you unhook the battery before you unhook the connectors to the screen. Let me know if it works
