After installing screen I cannot hear the person on the other end of the line talking to me. The touch ID is also not responsive either. They can hear me, I can only hear them if I put speakerphone on. I have done a full reset and problem still persists.
So you have a connector for the home button/touch id and a separate connector for your earpiece speaker (this also attaches your front camera and proximity sensor). I would go back and make sure the home connector flex is making a proper connection with the board as well as earpiece speaker/front camera cable. If they are go back and check for damage done to cables (and accidental tears or rips). Also wouldn’t hurt to check your physical fpc connectors on the motherboard itself after ruling the first part out.
