Chosen Solution
The screen glass broken the glass part was replaced. If you check the attached picture, you can see that there is a whole vertical bar where the touch does not work. I used note app to make it clearer.
Hard reseting does not seem to solve the problem. Could it be a hardware problem? If yes, do I need to replace the whole screen or are there ways to fix just the damage part without replacing the whole screen?
You’ll need to try a new screen. If that doesn’t fix it you may have caused damage during the repair process.
