Hello, I recently did a rear housing, screen, and battery replacement in order to give the phone a brand new look. I ended up giving it to my mom to use as an international phone during the summer. This is where the problems begin to occur. One day my mom went out for a walk. She came across something she wanted to take a photo of. She took the phone out and to her suprise, thetouch screen was not responsive. She then came back and asked me what is wrong with it. I took a look at it and everything was normal. I clicked the lock button several times to turn the screen on and off to see if the problem would persist. Then I decided to place the phone on the table. I pressed firmly on the middle of the screen and the turned on the screen. To my suprise, the touch screen was not responsive. Then I proceeded to turn the screen on and off, with the power button, and, what do you know, it is responsive. I tested this in all four corners of the screen. The same result occured. I told my mom to not carry the phone in her backpocket for now because I am scared this could be an even bigger issue. Just a quick history of the phone. The phone used to belong to me. I bought it around launch year. It has never been carried in a backpocket, or had any significant stress put on the chasis. The screen has been replaced 3 times. The first time it was taken to a shop. The job was terrible and the screen ended up failing after 2 months (touch was gone). I then replaced the touch screen myself with a cheaper one from china. It worked for about a year and a half and then it started getting random touch bugs. I then replaced it again, but with a oem refurb one from ebay. This brings us to the current day, where the phone is having issues with touch. I would like to know if this is a serious issue or a touch screen related issue before taking any actions. Also the phone does not have side effects like gray bars at the top of the screen. Thanks for your help! :)

you pressed on the middle of the screen and it worked, i would try a new lcd as they arent expensive
