2017, A1706 with Touch Bar . ID touch works fine, Touch Bar still show information as nomal, but there is no respons when I touch it. There is TouchBarServer in the activity monitor but no Touch Bar agentin. 1, I tried 1,Open Terminal application and run command killall ControlStrip. 2, Open Terminal application and run command sudo pkill TouchBarServer. 3, Tried to reset SMC and NVRAM. 4, I updated the system to Catalina. No one works for me…

Check the connections in the top left corner (from the top its the right corner)
Under the metal plate
The smaller cable is your TouchID button and the larger is the Touch Bar. If reseating it doesn’t fix things then you’ll need a new Touch Bar MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2016-2017) Touch Bar Assembly or the full uppercase.
