Chosen Solution
I press power button, everything is normal, then my screen start blinking. At the same time when my screen brightness turns off or blink, keyboard brightness turns off and button brightness. It doesn’t depend on time. It can happen after two minuetes or the screen will be black for 1 minuet. The best part i still can see my desktop and use mouse to shut m y laptop down. Thanks for responses. (if you want a photo of laptop, type Toshiba Satellite p875 in Google or somewhere else)
Vlad, I’d try with an external monitor first. Should that flicker to, you are having issues with the motherboard video circuit. If it does not, then the error could be a bad LVDS cable, not properly seated cable or an inverter issue as well as an LCD issue. Try one thing at a time and see what you come up with.
Hello, This is an old thread but maybe it can help. My Toshiba Satellite has the same issue, always blinking in DOS mode during startup, sometimes randomly when Windows started and also when displaying video with subtitles (!?). I solved all issues by opening the sceen (removing the platic cover of the screen) then putting electric protection tape everywhere inside, mainly on every steel parts. No blink at all since! Don’t ask me why…
