My Toshiba Satellite L655D - S5164 fan is making a lot of noise and heat. Does it need to be replaced?

I’m not quite sure, but I recommend getting it checked out, possibly at Best Buy? they have a place where technicians can check it out. One of my HP laptops has been making noise for about a year but since I haven’t gotten it checked out yet because I got a new one a while back
sometimes you will not required to replace fan. after air blow blocked by dust temperature getting increases and fan controller release the order to speed up fan’s RPM to cool down the system. just clean the heat sink and fan blades. noise will be decreases otherwise you have to change the cooler
