I find that my Toshiba devices have power on quirks. They will just take a while to turn on, or only turn on into the BIOS, or work fine. I make sure to keep an eye on the Toshiba update app for BIOS updates, but they just seem to have this type of issue. How did you open your WT7 to get the battery out? I cannot find instructions or videos to help with that.

I have the same issue. This tablet has no removable battery imho. Someone suggested, to take the frame/back cover off and then RESET the RAM / tablet pressing the power key for 30 seconds or more. Tried the Vol up + power to boot into recovery mode but my tablet looks dead. Resetting Toshiba Encore mini WT7 Tried everything but it won’t power on. I sent an e-mail to Toshiba support but no answer yet. I hope they can get some instruction on how to solve this issue. (I already upgraded to Windows 10.)
