Sometimes when I’m charging my device, the top half of my iPad becomes unresponsive while the bottom half (the side near the charging port) works just fine. However, when I unplug the cord, the top half starts working again. So far, I have tried to fix it by updating, reinstalling iOS from iTunes, and using a different, cord and brick, both of which I got from the Apple Store. None of this has worked. Any ideas on what’s wrong and how to fix it? Thanks Notes: I use either a 29w Apple brick with the USB C to Lightning cord or a 12w brick with a USB to Lightning (All of which are Apple or MFi certified)I have tried restarting the iPad while charging which works for a bit but starts doing it after 5 minutes of charging or soThe problem stops when I am done charging.

I had a similar problem with my iPhone but changing the cable solved my issue, so according to my own experience and what you already did I think you need to clean your charging port with the appropriate product and if that doesn’t work then you should try to clean the motherboard.

I got this specific problem in my iPad Pro 10.5 i changed the cable but see no difference , any other ideas ?!

I have a problem with my iPad Air screen is erratic when charging. Seems to be a grounding issue. Make sure you touch the back while charging and see if it helps with your screen
