Hi all, I have a MacBook and the keyboard had a spill so I had to replace the upper case. I did everything according to the repair tutorial but now only the top keys and caps lock key on my keyboard work and also only part of the keyboard is backlit (middle part). Thoughts? Thank you.
I did the same thing on my MacBook and did not run into this problem, I did however had some different keys that didn’t work. I reopened the MacBook and unplugged and plugged back in the (I think 3) cables including the track pad. It worked right away. Just a thought.
I’m about to attempt the same repair. Please keep this updated so that I can know what to do when I attempt my repair.
