Can I change the top case of a Mack book pro a1706 with a Germany keyboard layout by a US English keyboard layout? Are they compatible? Thanks
Yes, IF it is the exact same model. Apple makes MANY top cases for a specific model of machine. As long as the Top Case is for the same model, you are fine, however, newer year models require an AMCT (Apple Mac Certified Technician) to run AST 2 to ‘map’ the Top Case to the MLB.
