HI, i just replaced my long broken iphone 6 screen with a new one. unfortunately the new screen still show’s super tiny horizontal black lines. and when there is an app with a black background, i shows purple like vertical lines. it’s possible there came some amount of water inside, because i once left it outside when my screen was cracked. Still my touch screen is working fine though. I was wondering what to do.
There is a possibility that the new screen is defective but I think the connection is bad. Disconnect the battery and take off the screen connectors. Get a magnifying glass and check the connections and make sure that there are no bent pins. Then get a qtip and put alcohol on it and clean the connectors use a soft brush to finish it. Hook the screen back up and see if that solves the problem.
