The time is off (ahead by 8 minutes) has gotten there gradually since purchased - it was fine when I first got it about 2 years ago. I am not able to figure out how to reset it. When there is a time change (Spring & Fall), it does adjust by an hour, but still wrong by same number of minutes.
That is normal behavior for most clocks. The time accuracy is usually +- 1sec/month, or something like that. To set the time follow the instructions described in this photo.
FIXED! Note: power off, remove 3V battery, power on, reset year/month/day/12hr(am/pm)/hour/minute, replace 3V battery Note: The translated manual is unclear or at least NOT 100% correct, I did not find DST or time zone
