Hi, My 2017 MacBook Pro without Touch Bar (A1708) has a problem. I can’t use anything because I have 2 thunderbolt ports and they don’t work, only one I can use for charging. Within the information about system I can’t see thunderbolts and every time I power on my MacBook I get a report ‘‘USB ports was disabled’’ I tried SMC restart and don’t work. Do you know how I can repair them both? Is it software or hardware problem? Thanks

You indeed have a hardware issue. Sadly the Thunderbolt controller chip has failed. The Green outlined chip will need replacing or you’ll need a new logic board, Ouch!
