I have just bought a new Candy A+++ and I have used the 59 minute daily wash cycle twice. I am very unsure about it though as the washing is coming out warm/hot! It feels wrong and the pipe is def only connected to cold water tap, can anyone advice? It’s model GVS 1410DC3/1-80 The weather is cold outside, so nothing to do with warm weather! I would be grateful for any advice
Hi @sarahsb Are all the wash temperature lights off when you have selected the programme? According to the user manual on p.6 it says: “The machine can be connected to the cold water tap only: in this case, some programs may start a few minutes later.” This is be because the washer has a heater element and it may be turned on to heat the water if the selected temperature settings indicate that it is not a cold wash and it takes a little while to heat the water. On p.12 the Temperature Selection button entry states : This button allows you to change the temperature of the wash cycles It is not possible to raise the temperature over the maximum allowed for the programme, in order to protect the fabrics. If you want carry out a cold wash all the indicators must be off Also under the Wash Temperature Indicator Lights This show the washing temperature of the selected programme that can be changed (where allowed) by the relevant button. If you want carry out a cold wash all the indicators must be off.
