Samsung QN65Q7F When we contacted technical person, he told that the display was gone. Since warranty was over Samsung not providing the support. My question is if display only gone, the tv need to show as connected device in our WiFi. But it is not showing.? So really main board is the issue or display. Is anybody experienced this problem in qled tv?
@prab let’s try a few things if you are up for it. Let’s forget what the repair man did for a bit. Not saying he is wrong but just odd. Start with this: How to COLD BOOT the TV Method 1) Unplug and re-plug in the power cord Method 2) While TV is on, Press & Hold Power Button of TV remote for 4 seconds. TV will turn off and on by itself. After TV is “COLD BOOTED” (AC Power Re-Cycled), Flashing symptom codes will operate and show the defect block with number of LED flash. Place a mirror or phone directly under Standby LED to observe flashing. Let us know the number of flashes. After that, remove the back cover from your TV and check a few things. Yes, you do need a multimeter.
- TV in Standby Standby LED Indicator NOTE • Status can be changed in user menu and may default off.
- If Not Lit: Check if One Connect Box is Powered • If OK Check if OCB Cable to TV (Miss Connections or damaged cable) • If OK Check A13V CNM803 Pin 13 on TV SMPS • A13V is supplied from One Connect to SMPS & TV Board
- If A13V is missing Remove CNM803 Connector to SMPS Check A13V on Cable or at TV Board • If A13 is now OK Replace Defective SMPS • If A13 is still missing Check One Connect Operation / One Connect Cable
- If A13 was OK on SMPS TV Main Board supply voltages to Function Control • If missing replace TV Main Board Check Standby LED voltage (1.7Vdc on Function Connector) • If OK replace Function Assy • If missing replace TV Main Board. Also you may need to check the One Connect Cable (assuming that the One Connect Box is okay) since it can be an issue. Let us know what you find.
