…but is it possible to use a much newer logic board in this if you were to replace the screen and modify the case? I understand that it’ll be far more expensive than just getting the book itself, but look at this as more conjecture than anything. Is there any space limitation here, or would it work? Thanks in advance.
If you have a nice pristine system I would not bugger it up! As you wanted to install a newer logic board thats just not in the cards when jumping outside of the case design your system is part of A1342 The rub here is the ports are located in different locations and the newer MacBook logic board is radically different!
