No matter how many times I run my knife thru the device it does not sharpen. What could be the problem? I am considering throwing the device away if I cannot fix it myself.
All that thing really does is regrind the steel at the proper angle. On a good knife that needs to be done every couple of years or so. The better thing to use is a steel which does not remove metal. Here’s a good video on how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmO_kphe…
