Hey Guys, I used my Mac quite hard. I did a lot of CAD stuff und pushed the limits while coding. Now my Mac cranks up the Fans often already while watching video’s. Even after I cleaned it(there was not much dust). Should I replace the paste? I only did this a few times on desktop pcs, is there any hint or paper I can follow for my MacBook? Model A1708late ‘16 2 USB-C Ports 256GB & 8Gb Ram
I run similar tasks on my ThinkPad. I just replaced the paste after 10 years, and noticed really no difference. Plus, the MacBook is not really that powerful. Keep it, you’ll be fine.
