Need a model number to get a good answer, but by far the most common thing to check first is the drain pump and filter basket. Make sure nothing is keeping the washer from draining properly. I’m assuming that the rest of the cycle works as expected.
The timer on your washing machine controls all aspects of the wash, spin, and rinse cycles.
