Chosen Solution
I can tap on the top half of the screen to light it up just fine, but once it’s on the top of the display does not respond. When typing in my passcode, the highest row of numbers I can press is 4, 5, 6. I can not press 1,2, or 3. I just put in the replacement screen and tried making sure the connectors were all the way in but still nothing. I think they are all the one in anyway. Edit: I put my old cracked screen back on and the screen functions just fine.
The same thing happened to my iPhone! I had to get it fixed because that part of the screen was not attached to the main part of the iPhone.
