I bought my camcorder today and when I got it home it powered up and made promising sounds then I put a tape in, and it loaded properly however when put in either playback or camera the tape wont spin or advance and when ejected the camera won’t unload the tape and I have to rewind by hand. and when i put the tape into a vcr i see the jumbled overlayed video
I had the exact problem you’re describing, it’s gonna need a belt replacement, it’s fairly simple, the belt is under the main circuit board.
