My dog ate the strap on my OQ v1 headset. How do I replace it?
Unfortunately @camblair, there does not seem to be an easy way to remove the broken head strap. The core of the issue is that the earpieces are fixed to the head strap in a way that it requires you to actually open the device up to a fairly substantial degree. There is a guide that shows you how to disassemble your quest that I will link here. The guide talks about the head strap at around the 40 minute mark, but I suggest watching the whole video to get the most out of it. I will also add that if you do end up following the guide, to write a guide. Your findings could be very helpful to other users with similar issues.
