The sound on my 32" TV has suddenly become very tinny and echoing. What are the possible problems and fixes?

Hi @bobwinfield , Have you tried adjusting the TV’s sound settings to check if you can improve the sound quality? Here’s an image taken from the TV’s User Guide that shows how to access the settings in the TV.

@sankluk those TV’s do not have the best audio amp IC so this my be the issue. You do want to try to connect an external speaker, sound bar or equivalent and see if that makes a difference. If it does then it could be your speaker. If it does not then it is probably related to the audio amp. Of course this assumes that your TV’s audio settings have not been changed. Let us know what model your TV is so we can try to help you further.
