Why are HP computer so bad? This is the question I really want to ask ever since I used the HP desktop and laptop from 1999. Please pass this questions to upper managers I don’t see the issue from my dell laptop which is my personal pc.
- HP laptop keeps running in sleep mode that drains all the battery even during the sleep mode
- HP laptop gets too hot during the sleep mode
- When unplug the HP laptop from the docking station, it turns off the PC. It should go to sleep mode, i think.
I use LAN cable in the office but use wifi at the meeting room. Most of time, I have to disable the LAN to enable the wireless network
Hi Here is a forum which is not represented by HP / Dell / etc, we are here to help each other, sharing experiences, solutions, etc. Q- HP laptop keeps running in sleep mode that drains all the battery even during the sleep mode Q-HP laptop gets too hot during the sleep mode A- Please check if there is any bios update for the laptop.
- When unplug the HP laptop from the docking station, it turns off the PC. It should go to sleep mode, i think. A-It could be due to software issues, update your laptop bios if there is any, update the software, e.g. docking station software, device drivers on the hp website to the latest.

Most of time, I have to disable the LAN to enable the wireless network A: If both is connected, LAN and wifi, LAN is preferred to WiFi, check your software which is controlling, it is possible your OS might be unstable, list down the OS, etc.
