Chosen Solution
I bought this latop not too long ago and when i first got it, it worked fine when folded but after 2weeks or so my screen started to go black when i folded the screen all the way. I suspect it has something to do with the windows10 update…sos
@chris1744 since “screen started to go black when i folded the screen “ it sounds more like a shaved cable that shortens out vs. a Windows update. Check the wiring first. Use these guides Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (1st Gen) Repair to work on it.
