Hi Old Turkey, I have an Insignia, model NS-32D120A13. I turned it on the other night and the right half had colored vertical lines down it. I smacked and wiggled it a little and the issue resolved itself. This morning I woke and that same right half was pitch black. After watching videos and opening the back, and tinkering nothing affected the image at all. On top of that, I do not know what affects the image on the right side (left side has ribbon) and I do not see an inverter board. I have a main power supply board on the right and an auxillary board of sorts where I plug in cables and what not like HDMI.
@broseph check the cable that connects from the right side of the T-con board to the LCD panel (some have an integrated T-con board so we need to see your boards). Remove it and then reseat it. Check for frayed ends etc. Post some good pictures of all of your boards with your question. It will help for us to see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question
