Hi oldturkey. You deserve a medal for helping people. My Samsung UN32EH5000FXZA TV will not power up. The red power light blinks constantly & the screen flashes white very, very faintly & rapidly in time to the power light. I replaced the power circuit board, but still have the problem. I also tried your reset recommendation. Any suggestions? I don’t have the knowledge to test individual components, but can change the circuit boards or the screen if necessary. I have photos of the 2 other circuit boards. Update (08/21/2019) Thanks Oldturkey. You’re a treasure. Disconnected the power board from the main board & still got the faint white flashes, but the red light didn’t flash at all. Update (08/21/2019) 1 additional piece of information: I plugged in with the back removed & the blinking white visible through the chassis holes was very bright.
wooki gzooks this could be an issue with the main board as well as the backlight array. Disconnect the cable going form the power board to the main board and see if the backlight comes on. Let us know what you find. If the blinking stops and the backlight comes on the issue is most likely related to the main board. If it does not it is possible that the backlight array has failed.
