I unwittingly plugged in a 1500watts space heater, which worked for a few minutes and then abruptly stopped. I could not find a circuit breaker in this. Is there any way to repair this? The space heater still works if I plug directly into an outlet. None of the plugs in the power strip works anymore. Please see photos.
davkuo plug it in and measure the AC voltage on the rails between the brown and blue wire. Should be showing your household voltage. In which case the issue will be your (wiring to the) switches since they are most likely your circuit protections. Not sure what component (Fuse/resistor/etc) is under the heat shrink tubing coming of the Line and goes to each switch, but I bet that is where part of the issues are. Check each individual switch to see if none of them has power. We would have to see the inside of those to see what’s going on. Looks like a 220V outlet so be careful probing around since it does pack a punch.
