Hey guys, I’m new here but I have used the guide on here to replace my LCD for iphone 6. So first thanks to everyone for their contribution and help. Because my LCD was broken for a long time and it kept getting worse and worse and finally my home button’s flex cable got torn and it fell out. I still have the original button but it can’t be reconnected without the flex cable being repaired otherwise I would lose touch ID and could run into other issues. Honestly, I would really like to retain touch ID and not have to go through jailbreak and root files. So if anyone knows of any guide and any way that I can still save my home button and get it to work again, kindly point me in the right direction. I will use a custom picture of a home button to indicate where the rip has occured..
