For a while now, my microphone on my iPod Touch 5th Generation won’t pick up sound at the front. Siri won’t work, face time won’t work even voice memos don’t work. However, the back microphone picks up sounds but barely. It needs to be very loud or you will only hear a bit. I tried cleaning my microphones but it didn’t how. Now, I need headphones with a microphone to talk. Please help me, I’m desperate.

have you tried restoring your iPod? If you have and it still doesn’t work, then you probably need to replace the microphone.
