Hi. I have the Afterglow PDP AGU.1S. On the microphone part, the blue light is flashing, and when I go to the support site for the headset it tells me to download and install new firmware onto the headset. The tool however told me that the firmware is corrupt, and I have now sent two tickets to the support team over the last five days without any viable fixes. If anyone has encountered this problem before or knows how to fix it, please tell me. Edit: I should also add that the receiver is working fine, and this headset is wireless, it is the headset entirely that is malfunctioning. Update (06/19/2017) i’m having the same issue, it is already out of power and still the updater just tells me it is corrupt

If you are using the PC version and it fails, phone a Mac friend & vice versa. This is a result of the headset’s firmware being corrupted. In order to repair this, allow your headset to run out of power- This could take up to 24 hours. http://www.pdp.com/firmwareupdateand follow the instructions on screen. Be aware, an application will need to be downloaded to perform the firmware update.

Tried this and it did not work.

just had the same probleme with my afterglow prismatic. tried a few things even unplugging the battery to make sure the was no power before trying the update and said the same, that it was corrupted. So i contacted the support for help since i havent found a fix, and they are saying that once you have that the headset is done.. so he is offering to replace even if out of warranty. still mad about cause i love my set. if someone found a way to repair please help:p and for those with the same prob. try contacting them. they respond really quickly so thats awesome, and they will ask a few things to trade it
