HP 8770w screen lid has two pins that latch the unit closed, how to repair a broken or loosed one please
Hi, Do you mean the two pins as shown in the image below?

Go to p.88 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the display assembly. This should give access to the display enclosure. If the enclosure’s pin mount is broken and it cannot be fixed and needs to be replaced, on p.30 Item #10 you’ll find the HP part number for the enclosure, (652524-001). Search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you
