The LCD screen went black, although the camera still turns on and makes photos (i’ve checked the memory card), but since the screen doesn’t turn on, none of the menu/info/set functions are available…
@rasma in a darkened room and with your camera on shine a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen see if you can make out your menu etc. This could be a backlight error. If that does not show anything it is possible that your LCD screen has failed. Check this video to see how to replace the LCD.
