I am trying to remove the speaker for a battery replacement, but I don’t see any screws to the left of the speaker.
Just taking a wild-a$$ guess here, but did you remove the tape covering the two screws to the left of the speaker? Take a look at Step 24 of the iPhone 11 Lower Speaker Replacement guide.
